Collarette Dahlias
Ideal for dahlia lovers who grow flowers in containers or small gardens, these varieties generally have compact habits but large, attention-getting blooms that add pizzazz to any display. Each bloom has a ruffled "collar" of petals in the centre that is surrounded by larger, flat petals that may overlap and are sometimes in contrasting hues. In a traditional planting scheme, they look terrific mixed in with other flowering plants. If your garden design is more contemporary and filled with leafy plants, collarette dahlias can infuse it with their vibrant colour.
