We searched for years to find an extra-long-blooming tulip variety, and feared that we never would…until one grower introduced us to this very special hybrid. We could hardly believe our eyes when we saw just how long these incredible, colourful 6" blooms last. Towering above other tulip varieties at heights of up to 30", Breck's Forever Spring Tulips begin blooming extra early, emerging with your favourite daffodils. They will continue to bloom for weeks, even after daffodils and other tulip varieties wither. Plus, tall stems are exceptionally sturdy and will not bend. An incredible display!

Great tulips given their hard life

Bought these fall of 2016 for the Nashville, TN area. Record heat and drought, so they werent planted until mid-November as I was worried they may start to grow if I didnr wait until cooler weather. The ground was so rock hard and compacted from drought the only way I could plant them was with a pick ax to break the soil. And I couldnt dig deep enough to plant them more than 3 inches deep. Then, got to Spring temps in February. All the spring bulbs were growing. So I covered them with another 2 to 3 inches of mulch as the first tiny peek of the leaves came out of the soil. As advetised, these began growing with the daffodils on nice tall, strong stems. The only place I could plant mine only gets about 3 to 4 hours a day of direct sun. (Mid-day to early afternoon.)Even with all that adversity, they grew to full size blooms of about 4 to 6 inches. ***Mine bloomed for three weeks.*** And during that time, survived being completely without shelter thru at least 3 or 4 very windy, strong spring storms. One or two leaned sideways from the storm, but were able to stand almost fully back up right within 1 to 2 days. So yes, tough conditions, but they did well, all that considered.

Revel in your favourite season with the Forever Spring Tulip Mixture. This diverse quartet includes the rosy pink, white rimmed All That Jazz tulip, the lavender Light and Dreamy tulip, the red-eyed, yellow rimmed Hot Honey Rag tulip, and the deep crimson Life's a Cabernet tulip. These hardy perennial tulips bloom all season long and grow to a towering 28 to 30 inches tall.

Plant this fabulous foursome in the fall. Tulips wane when exposed to excessive moisture, so make sure to set them in a sunny or partially shady spot with well-drained clay, loamy or sandy soil. Bury your spring tulip bulbs about 3 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart to avoid overcrowding their robust 6-inch blooms. This Dutch-sourced collection thrives in hardiness zones 3 through 8.

With its long lasting blooms, wide range of hues and sturdy stems, the Forever Spring tulip mixture is a solid addition to your vernal garden. These tulips will appear at the same time as many varieties of daffodils, so consider encircling your spring tulip bulbs with more neutral varieties of white or pink daffodils, or pair this mixture with an equally varied daffodil blend to create an elaborate sensory bounty. Make this spring last a lifetime with the Forever Spring tulip mixture.
