Butterflies and Bees Love Them!

Daisies Brighten Gardens... and Lives.
We love daisies as much as butterflies and bees love them. Because of their simple beauty, daisies are often the first flowers that young children draw with their crayons. Grown-ups who garden know daisies are hardy flowers that can adorn any bed, border or container from early spring to early fall. They also know that a bundle of cut daisies can make a lovely and thoughtful gift for a friend. It's no wonder that daisies are universally beloved!

Enjoy Months of Daisy Blooms!
The daisies in this collection were specially chosen to provide you with constant blooms from early summer to early fall! Not only will they add spectacular colour to your garden, they're also a surefire way to attract butterflies and bees, which crave their sweet nectar. These pollinators will go from one lovely blossom to the next transporting and spreading the life-giving pollen that will allow your daisy patch to spread!

This collection includes 2 each of the following varieties:

  • Honeysong Purple Stokes' Aster: This captivating daisy has a large, cornflower-like bloom that measures 4" across and has petals with deeply serrated edges. The bloom is a gorgeous shade of royal purple with a dash of red near its centre that darkens as it matures. Its white stamens and purple-tinged stem add contrasting colour. The deep green foliage is neatly mounding. This hardy plant perennializes well and flowers best in full sunshine, although it tolerates partial shade. Use a protective blanket of winter mulch in the northern areas of its growing range. Height: 14". Deer Resistant

  • Alaska Shasta Daisy: Daisies are a summertime classic, and if you're looking to add some to your garden, this popular hybrid is one of the best. It has all the looks of traditional daisies–a large, 3", white-petaled bloom with a yellow eye–plus the added feature of producing multiple flowers on each stalk. Gardeners love its growing ease, even in cooler climates. Makes a beautiful display in containers, where it's easily accessible to the butterflies that love it. Use it in a perennial border, where you can grab some for cut-flower displays and enjoy its return each summer. Height: 24–36"

  • Painted Daisy: The Painted Daisy is a much-loved, old-fashioned perennial that has long been popular as a cut flower and for the summer border. Foliage is bright green and fernlike with upright stems bearing loads of single, yellow-eyed daisies in crimson red and measuring 3" across. Makes the greatest impact on landscapes when planted in large groupings, but this colourful flower is a nice addition to any flower pot. Prefers growing in the sun but can live where there is partial shade and almost any type of well-drained soil. Height: 24–36". Deer Resistant
