Description

Abundant blooms all summer long!

The varieties featured in our Daisy Chain Collection are all members of the Asteraceae family, and although their colours and habits differ, there's clearly a family resemblance! The cheerful daisylike blooms appear all at once and keep your garden bright all summer long. Sometimes, they keep blooming into early fall!

If you've ever had interest in growing daisies, here's your chance! Every variety in this new collection boasts a daisy flower form, each with its own special twist.

• Prefers plenty of sunlight, but can thrive in sun to part shade.
• Attracts butterflies and beneficial pollinators.

This collection includes one each of the following varieties:

  • Banana Cream Shasta Daisy: Blooms open to greet you with lemony hues, turning light butter yellow and finally, creamy white as they mature. This diseaseresistant shasta daisy grows 15–18" tall and naturalizes like a charm. Leucanthemum superbum 'Banana Cream' PP23181

  • Whoops-a-Daisy Shasta Daisy: Unlike its name, this daisy is very orderly, forming in a tidy, ball-shaped mound. It blooms in layers of frilled, pure white petals around vivid golden centres. In early to midsummer, flowers completely blanket the plant and mature beautifully. They're sweet in a small vase, too. Growing 15" tall, Whoops-a-Daisy's compact habit is perfect for a mixed container. Leucanthemum superbum 'Whoops- A-Daisy' PPAF

  • Peachie's Pick Stokes Aster: Fluffy lavender-blue blooms add textural interest to your daisy display. This stokes aster is also perfect for pots. Its sturdy, 15–18" stems don't droop in the heat, showing off the abundant flowers throughout the long bloom season. Great drought tolerance, too—ideal for a well-drained spot. Stokesia 'Peachie's Pick'

  • Arizona Sun Gaillardia: One of the best-loved gaillardias, Arizona Sun has won the prestigious Fleuroselect Gold Medal. Even in the first year, it will tantalize viewers with burning orange-red blooms tipped in vivid yellow. It perennializes well, tolerating heat, humidity and poor soils. Ideal for rock gardens or as a bold ground cover. This easy-growing stunner reaches 10–12" tall. Gaillardia aristata 'Arizona Sun'

  • PowWow Wild Berry Coneflower: This compact coneflower was extremely floriferous in our trials! It tolerates poor soil well and produces loads of colourfast purple-pink to nearly magenta blooms all summer long—no deadheading required! Seeds provide food for winter birds and add interest to your landscape. This drought-tolerant beauty grows 18–24" tall. Echinacea purpurea 'PowWow Wild Berry'
