Kiss the Girl Siberian Iris

Kiss the Girl Siberian Iris

Enchants with its sweet perfume.

Spread a little sunshine in your garden and give it a fragrant whiff, to boot! The gently ruffled blooms of this cheerful award winner have light yellow standards and bright yellow falls. Style arms are pale yellow with somewhat darker midribs and tips. Blooms release a slight, sweet smell that makes them unappealing to foraging deer. Kiss the Girl is an excellent performer in a bed or border, even when grown in partial shade, and it positively thrives in moist earth near a steam or pond. Tolerates all types of soil if not allowed to dry out. Although this elegant perennial is easy to grow, it requires a year to become established. With patience, it will become hardy and start flourishing from one year to the next. Introduced in 2004.
