DescriptionGrace your garden with the sweet purity of this fragrant early bloomer.
With its very fragrant, pristine white petals, the Madonna Lily has been a garden favourite for generations. Indeed, it's been in cultivation for an astonishing 3,000 years! We know this because it's pictured on Minoan pottery dating back to 1600 BC. And for centuries, this dazzling, yet simple flower has appeared in paintings of the Virgin Mary. Roman, medieval and colonial gardeners grew Madonna Lily for its herbal powers. And you can grow this historic flower in your own garden today! Each year it bursts into bloom with a virtual bouquet of 15–20 flowers per plant. Excellent for cut flowers to enjoy indoors.Lilium candidum
