Goes Great With

Description

plum, pretty plicata with dark burgundy standards that open above yellow-tinged white falls edged in even more dark burgundy. Heads will turn to get a second look at the spectacular splash of white adrift in the sea of crimson.

"Plicata" refers to a stippled or dotted pattern on the petal margins. Plicata colouring, which is typically darker than the base colour, is a wonderful way for irises to show off bold splashes of contrasting hues and ruffles on their falls. Often easy to grow and always striking in appearance, they are the ideal focal point for gardens. Or bundle a few into a cut-flower bouquet to add some verve to your indoor décor.
