DescriptionFew perennials ever offer such full, lush beauty as Piilu Clematis does twice each season! Semi-double blooms of clear, light pink accented by deep pink bars and dark red-purple centres appear in abundance during the early season. In fact, the flowers are so sumptuous and plentiful that they completely cover the vigorous vine, leaving no bare spots behind. If spent flowers are cleared away, you'll be presented with a myriad of rich pink single blooms in the fall. Though a bit shorter than many clematis varieties, Piilu makes a marvelous container plant that can be moved around a sunlit patio or porch. Can also be used as a unique and exotic ground cover planting, its vining habit letting it quickly cover lots of space. Easy to grow and maintain. Loved by butterflies and hummingbirds. Classification: Pruning Group 2.
