Description

The Most Highly Anticipated Collection from the Famous Keukenhof Gardens
Pride Perennial Tulips have been featured in the famous Keukenhof garden's prestigious tulip display for years, and we've been working to add them to our offering ever since we first fell in love with them. In early January, when we had just a little time left to lock in our 2019 fall selection, these were finally made available to us. We are so very excited to finally introduce you to the Pride Perennial Tulip Collection—we're confident it will become the pride and joy of your spring garden.

The BIG Deal about Pride Tulips
These tulips don't just come in a beautiful range of colours, in true WOW! fashion, they're also huge! Tulip blooms 5" tall will rise up behind your typical spring flowers on sturdy, 22" stems. This makes them a good mainstay for your perennial spring border and an instant accent in the garden and vase.

Designed for Perfect Harmony
Each first-rate variety in this collection is a sport from the same original tulip. This means they'll all grow around the same height and bloom at the same time, a kind of synchronicity professionals are usually hired to create. For cut-flower fans, having tons of tulips in complementary shades that are all ready to cut at the same time means your fresh bouquets will be the envy of neighbours and florists alike.

...Plus It's Perennial!
Pride tulips all belong to the Darwinhybrid group. The best thing about that is their superiority in perennializing. They're long lived beauties in zones 3–8, planted in well-drained, sunny to partially shaded garden beds. With reliable perennial tulips, you're not just planning a beautiful garden this year, you're creating something you'll be able to enjoy again and again.

A Landscaper's Dream
If the Keukenhof garden displays prove anything, it's that tulips are phenomenal in big groups. They bring a sweeping sea of colour into the garden, and really transform the landscape into a beacon of fresh spring beauty. That's why we're including 48 top quality bulbs in the Pride Perennial Tulip Collection. Blooming in the middle of tulip season, they'll keep the spring show going strong. Plus, if you plant them with our other two collections, they'll bridge the gap between the early WOW! Deluxe tulips and the late WOW! Towering tulips. You'll have plenty to work with in the garden, and your display won't suffer if you plan to create an indoor arrangement, too.

It's the WOW! Factor
The Breck's team couldn't keep our eyes off these huge blooms in the Keukenhof Garden's tulip display. Now with 48 massive 12+ cm bulbs, you'll be able to create your own irresistible perennial tulip show.

This collection includes 8 each of the following varieties:
  • Apricot Pride: A light, airy Pride Perennial Tulip to enchant your garden's guests, these blooms are the perfect blend of apricot and pink.
  • Purple Pride: Lilac-purple helps make the show more dynamic, adding some darker tones to the collection without losing any of that pastel spring charm.
  • Red Pride: A true classic on a bigger scale, these brilliant candy-apple red blooms make the most of the traditional tulip shape. These clear signal hues will draw attention with incredible ease.
  • Royal Pride: Give your spring garden the royal treatment with the dramatic white-to-rose colouration that plays across these petals. It's as stunning en masse as it is among the other varieties in our Pride Perennial Tulip Collection.
  • Bronze Pride: Such an intricate and unusual colour pattern, Bronze Pride will set your garden apart without a doubt. The petals are blushed pink, blending perfectly into a gorgeous bronze-yellow around the edge.
  • Orange Pride: Not your typical orange, these petals are brushed with a delicate combination of pumpkin, salmon and apricot. A light frost overtop makes the colour even softer and more winsome.
