Mounded 16" plants bear heavily ribbed, heart-shaped leaves of intense blue-green with golden-yellow margins that change throughout the season, first to chartreuse and then to creamy white. It makes a lovely (and slug-resistant) addition to perennial beds, mixed borders or containers. We like to see it planted in rock gardens where the bold hues contrast nicely with their background. Attracts butterflies.
