I recieved my watercolor rose last spring. It's planted along the fence in partial shade--in East Texas the summer heat tends to scorch my roses if they're in full sun-- along with my three other roses from Breck's. It bloomed within months of planting, and now that it's had a year to settle in, this rose is gearing up for an explosion of blooms. We've had a pretty wet spring and winter but I haven't had any problems with disease. The mild winter resulted in a second wind for all of my roses , and once they recovered from the summer heat, this rose put on a display of blooms from mid November through early January. It has been a vigorous grower from the start.
