Award-Winning Daffodil Collection
Award-Winning Daffodil Collection
Among the many criteria considered for the Wister Award is that a winning daffodil should produce lots of vibrant, long-lasting flowers that don't fade in the sun. Blooms should open on sturdy stems that are taller than the foliage. Plants should resist disease and frost damage.
This collection is guaranteed to give your garden award-winning beauty, colour and fragrance every spring for years to come!
Each of These Daffodils Is a Winner!
Includes 5 each of Chromacolor, Saint Keverne, Delibes, Sir Winston Churchill and Golden Echo
Chromacolor—The quintessential pink daffodil, award-winning Chromacolor's extra-wide corona of deep coral is framed by large, white petals. Temperatures affect daffodil colors. Warmer spring temperatures really bring out the pink or salmon-pink hues in pink daffodils, while cooler temperature bring out their orange tones.
Saint Keverne—This sunny, canary-yellow daffodil is revered for its early opening, strong-stemmed flowers. The large-cupped, 4" blooms are sometimes seen opening in snow-covered gardens!
Delibes—The fragrant, 4" blooms boast a golden-yellow perianth that encircles a vibrant orange coronas with lavish, ruffled rims.
Sir Winston Churchill—Each stem yields 3-5 fragrant blooms with white petals and yellow centres. Best planted in groups for maximum impact, Sir Winston Churchill is also a delightful addition to any border.
Golden Echo—Enjoy up to three fragrant daffodils on each stem. The vivid yellow hue of the small cups flows lightly into the snowy white of the outer petals, giving blooms a halo effect.
