Description

Varieties That Enjoy Their Place in the Sun

Too many hot, sunny days and too little water will decimate most flower beds, leaving blooms wilted, foliage dried and gardeners dejected.

That's why we created the new Breck's® Drought-Resistant Sun Designer Garden. Our flower experts selected nine colourful, appealing perennials that, once established, can take the heat and drought, and still put on a spectacular show all season long—and with very little effort from you!

As the plants in this magnificent collection become larger over the years, they will provide you with a cornucopia of coneflowers and a whole lotta phlox! This assortment also includes yarrow, gaillardia, sedum and other beautiful, drought- and heat-tolerant flowers in a wide range of colours and sizes.

For best results, we recommend planting them as shown in the garden diagram included with your order.

The varieties in this collection cover an area of approximately 60 square feet (6' x 10').

This garden is suitable for hardiness zones 3–9. It should be planted in well-drained soil where it will receive full sun.

Green Twister Coneflower: 4", daisylike, lemon-green blooms—some of which are more yellow than green—darken to reddish pink in the centre and highlight a carmine-red cone. This eye-catching coneflower is excellent in bouquets and arrangements, but you can also leave some spent blooms to feed finches and other birds through the winter.Echinacea
