Arum italicum Description

A beautiful three-season spectacle!
Breck's Arum Italicum bulbs produce beautiful green blooms, similar to jack-in-the-pulpits, and appear in the early summer. The Arum's bloom is then followed by small clusters of orange and red berries. In the fall, the Arum plant's arrow-shaped foliage becomes marbled and silver-veined to create an unforgettable look. Add this jewel for variety in your garden today!

Can be invasive in certain areas, especially on the West Coast.

What to Plant with Arum Italicum?

Arum plants can produce colorful spadix flowers and, once dormant in the summer, are left with stalks of red berries. Typically, it's a good idea to pair these plants with others that are not dormant in the same period. Hostas' are and Iris' can be great picks!

Is Arum Italicum Deer Resistant?

Arum Italicum plants are deer resistant and can grow in a variety of areas and soils without the need to worry about the animal. The plant is especially gorgeous in the winter with its foliage standing out against the white snow.
