Pink Diamond UltraDouble Hyacinth

Pink Diamond UltraDouble Hyacinth

Exciting, new hyacinth overflows with pink petals!

Pink Diamond isn't choosy—it's willing to add vibrance and perfume wherever you use it! Right at home in front of a border, in a patio pot or in a vase, this lush hyacinth bears lots of breezy, sweetly scented blooms that are light pink with medium pink midribs. If you enjoy growing hyacinths and especially like having double-flowered hyacinths in your garden, then you're sure to adore this petal-packed variety that's part of our new UltraDouble Hyacinth series. While a typical, single-flowered hyacinth has six petals and most double varieties have about 12, an UltraDouble hyacinth bears up to 18 petals in each of its many star-shaped flowers! These extremely double (maybe should we call them triple) blooms form dense flower spikes atop 8-10" stems from early to mid spring. Pink Diamond is a deer-resistant, low-maintenance hyacinth that can grow in almost any type of well-drained soil. It performs best when getting at least some direct sunlight.

Important Shipping Notes:

Breck's times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America. To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window below.

We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules. The type of product you order or the weather may affect the anticipated shipping schedule below. Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.
