Ruby Slippers Dwarf Oakleaf Hydrangea Description

Thrives in heat, drought and poor soil!
A true dwarf oakleaf hydrangea, Ruby Slippers grows to a mere 42–48" tall and 4–5' wide, yet features fantastic, 9" long flower panicles in early summer. The blooms start out white, then transition gradually to pink, then a rosy shade of red over time. This amazing colour change continues into fall when the green foliage turns to rich burgundy. The foliage withstands full sun, strong winds and heavy rains.Hydrangea quercifolia
