These pretty plants from South Africa are popular for their striking, bell-shaped flowers and gorgeous, deep green foliage. They open a bounty of fragrant, white and medium blue blooms throughout the summer, starting earlier than most types of agapanthus. Their clusters of long, narrow, grasslike leaves add further visual interest. Butterflies love their blooms, but peckish deer avoid them. Compact perennials add a long-lasting, exotic look to gardens, beds and patio containers, and both make great cut flowers. Drought tolerant and easy to grow.

Breck's times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America. To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window below.
