Thunderbolt Hosta

Thunderbolt Hosta

While Thunderbolt Hosta is a treasure in shady borders, darkened areas of a perennial bed or decorative containers, its natural tolerance to El Sol makes it an excellent option for more sunlit areas. Exhibiting an impressive 30" tall mound of foliage in rich verdant shades, it fills out larger spaces with ease. Heart-shaped, blue-green leaves display golden-yellow centres that mature to creamy white. The leaves are thick and corrugated and show a slight cupping habit that makes it even more appealing in the landscape. Its sun tolerance and colour-changing nature make it a true garden go-to!

Shipping

Important Shipping Notes:

Breck's times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America. To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window below.

We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules. The type of product you order or the weather may affect the anticipated shipping schedule below. Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.
