Coral Sunset Peony

Uniquely coloured, divinely fragrant.

Ruffled, bowl-shaped semi-double flowers open coral-pink with rose overtones. The centre bursts with golden stamens, giving the 5½" blooms the appearance of a majestic sunset. Very thick and sturdy stems. An excellent cut flower, you’ll enjoy this peony’s moderate fragrance in bouquets. It took hybridizer Samuel Wissing about 25 years to achieve this celebrated peony’s unique colouring. Winner of APS Gold Medal and Award of Landscape Merit.

  • Planting InstructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots without bending them. Set crown with buds 1-2" below ground-level. Water in thoroughly. When planted in Fall: plant at least 6 weeks before ground freezes.
