Dusky purple buds open into very double, old-fashioned blooms packed with velvety plum petals touched with a smoky haze. Ebb Tide’s intense clove fragrance carries for several yards, making it easy to enjoy throughout the garden. Clusters of 3–4" flowers appear from mid to late spring and continue well into fall.
