Large, handsome, rose-style flowers have a nice scent.

Introduced in 1906, this beloved peony is also perhaps the best known. Rich rose-pink, double flowers are edged in lighter pink with a few petals showing crimson tips. Plants are very robust, floriferous and fragrant. Superb cut flower. Staking may be needed for the generous 7-8" blooms.

Planting InstructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots without bending them. Set crown with buds 1-2" below ground-level. Water in thoroughly. When planted in Fall: plant at least 6 weeks before ground freezes.
