I planted this daffodil because of the name Juanita Daffodil. My sister's name is Juanita and every year they are bloom on her birthday which is St. Patrick's Day. They are a very hardy and dependable daffodil on tall heavy stems and the blooms will last about 2 weeks. You cannot go wrong with this daffodils. Oh, and it naturalizes like a dream!

These beautiful daffodils bloomed last Spring and were a beautiful addition to my garden. They were planted in memory of a dear friend with the same name who passed away and who had loved beautiful flowers all of her life. Breck's has issued a replacement certificate and I may get more but would love something that lasts longer than a few weeks.

A few surprises came with this beauty. First of all, my handyman didn't get them into the ground until December; good thing I'm in Georgia! Second, Juanita is keeping a secret. The lemon yellow petals have a tiny bit of white at the very tip, and a thin vein of white running down to the bright orange cup. This daffodil has just the right amount of fragrance, not too strong, but pleasant. A real winner!
Looks like ordinary yellow daffodils

These flowers did come up and was excited to see all the novelty but did not have orange centers as shown. Looked like ordinary daffodils. Definitely not as pictured.
