My 4 year old picked these tulips out last year and we are SO excited since they started to bloom, they took a while but they outshined everything else that has come up this spring, the deep pink contrasts with the fringed white edges beautifully and they lasted almost 3 weeks before they started to lose petals! Really great choice if you want to liven up your tulip bed. All the bulbs bloomed as well not a dud in the bunch, shipping was accurate to shipping schedule and the email reminders that Brecks sends are always a plus!

Structure your landscape with exquisite Queensland Tulips, which feature double-blooming fringed petals. With lovely rosy-pink hues, the tulip blooms open up to 5 inches when they mature, offering striking beauty anywhere you plant them. The Dutch-sourced perennials feature cup-shaped blooms filled with petals, with characteristics closely resembling peonies. Standing at a height of 16 to 18 inches tall, be sure to add these splendid tulips to your cutting gardens for beautiful arrangements.

Tulips (Tulipa fringed 'Queensland') require full or partial sun for excellent growth, and do well in climate hardiness zones 3 to 8. Plant your tulips in the fall for breathtaking mid to late spring blooms in well drained, clay, loamy or sandy soil. For the best results, plant your Dutch tulip bulbs 6 inches deep and 3 to 6 inches apart.

Add clusters of Queensland tulips in meadows to create a stunning naturalised look, or plant them in front of a border to show off their beautiful blooms. Create a cheerful cottage garden with your tulips, adding in phlox, asters, coneflowers and peonies for an alluring colour combination. You can also place your tulips in between shrubs to liven up areas of your lawn. Enjoy the captivating ruffled petals of Queensland tulips in your garden this spring.
