Karl Rosenfield Peony

Widely regarded as the premier red peony variety, Karl Rosenfield has long been a favourite for cut flowers. It features striking, large double blooms measuring 6½–7" across, displaying a bright crimson hue tinged with a subtle hint of blue. The blooms are distinguished by their uniquely notched petal tips. This variety boasts tall, robust stems and lush foliage, although it does not have a significant fragrance.

  • Planting InstructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots without bending them. Set crown with buds 1" below ground-level. Water in thoroughly. Plant at least 6 weeks before ground freezes.
