These varieties have been recognized for their exceptional traits, such as vibrant foliage, strong growth and reliable performance.

This collection includes one each of the following five varieties:

  • Patriot Hosta: Its striking dark green leaves have extra-wide margins that start out creamy yellow before maturing to bright white. The slightly wavy foliage is slug resistant and handles sunlight well. Lavender blooms open on 30" scapes. Winner of the Award of Garden Merit and a former Hosta of the Year!
  • Halcyon Hosta: Rich metallic blue fits in anywhere you need an eye-catching display of hue and habit. This vigorous grower creates tidy foliage mounds topped with soft lavender blooms—it’s one of the heaviest-blooming hostas on the market. 
  • Sum and Substance Hosta: Extra tall and extra wide, this is one of the largest hostas available. It easily fills shady spaces with lush, light green foliage and delicate lilac blooms throughout the season. Soft yellow highlights add dimension to the broad leaves. Look closely and you’ll also observe the nearblack “noses” that emerge from the soil in spring. 
  • Sieboldiana Elegans Hosta: Just the ticket when you’re looking for a large, long-lived perennial to bring shade gardens and darkened borders into the light. Thick, slug-resistant, puckered leaves are extra-long—up to 20"—and feature a distinctively wavy texture. The smoky blue colour contrasts beautifully with the pale lavender to white blooms in summer.
  • Stained Glass Hosta: A multiple award winner with a beautiful foliage form, Stained Glass also happens to be very sun tolerant! It illuminates even the darkest corners with vivid gold leaves accented with deep green margins. Long leaves reach an impressive 10½" in length and form neat mounds that look amazing in shade gardens, borders and containers. Fragrant, pale lavender flowers attract butterflies!
