Award Winning Hosta Collection

Description

These varieties have been recognized for their exceptional traits, such as vibrant foliage, strong growth and reliable performance.

This collection includes one each of the following five varieties:

  • Halcyon Hosta: You’ll adore this awardwinning hosta…but slugs won’t! Rich metallic blue fits in anywhere you need an eye-catching display of hue and habit. This vigorous grower creates tidy foliage mounds topped with soft lavender blooms— it’s one of the heaviestblooming hostas on the market.
  • Sum and Substance Hosta: Sum and Substance easily fills shady spaces with lush, light green foliage and delicate lilac blooms throughout the season. Soft yellow highlights add dimension to the broad leaves. Look closely and you’ll also observe the near-black “noses” that emerge from the soil in spring.
  • Guacamole Hosta: Big, shiny leaves the colour of ripe avocado form pleasing mounds in shadedappled garden spaces. Midsummer brings tall scapes of fragrant, white blooms that lure hummingbirds and butterflies to your landscape. Its perennializing nature makes it the ideal ground cover.
  • Fire and Ice Hosta: This cool green-and-white hosta heats up shady spots, with irregular flame-shaped, white markings dividing its mid to dark green leaves. Ideal for the front of a border, as a ground cover or en masse. For a sense of nighttime intrigue and romance, use as part of a moonlight garden. Pastel lavender flowers.
  • Tokudama flavocircinalis Hosta: Thick, nearly round, frosty blue leaves have wide, irregular chartreuse margins and a corrugated texture. Shows great slug resistance, so you won’t be plagued with holes in your hosta. Plant in borders, containers or between shrubs and trees as a ground cover. For best colour, make sure you plant in part to full shade.
