Daffodils for Naturalizing Collection

These vigorous, perfectly matched daffodils create spectacular drifts that multiply and spread yearly. This is an expertly curated blend of large-cupped and trumpet varieties measuring 4–5" across. The bulbs produce waves of coordinated blooms at different times for an extended display. Plant beneath deciduous trees, along woodland edges, in meadow gardens or scattered through rough grass. The robust flowers are also excellent for cutting.

This collection contains 15 bulbs each of the following varieties:

  • Mount Hood
  • Juanita
  • Ice Follies
  • Carlton
  • Salome

Mount Hood : The finest all-white, giant trumpet type on the market today. Blooms open pale primrose yellow, then quickly become snowy white. Perfect in every detail—from strong, tall stems to flaring trumpets to pristine perianths 5" across.

Juanita: When it comes to naturalizing, this is one of the best. Large blooms are 5" in diameter and flaunt buttercup yellow petals offset by dramatic dark orange cups. A heavy bloomer that will add instant sunshine to your landscape. It multiplies readily and reappears yearly.

Ice Follies: This award-winning, large-cupped daffodil is among the very best choices for naturalizing and brings easy charm to borders year after year. It bears delightful, early to mid-spring blooms with shallow, yellow cups and crisp white petals. Each wide, 3¾" flower looks like a sunny-side-up egg. Returns reliably and multiplies quickly.

Carlton: You’ll want to fill the landscape with these bright and cheery daffodils. Two-toned yellow blooms—a showy 5" across—emit a haunting vanilla fragrance. Midseason flowers are great for cutting and filling fresh arrangements. Naturalizes nicely, reappearing yearly with increased bloom and vigour.

Salome: Fragrant, elegant and dependable, Salome is truly the cream of the crop. Beautifully shaped blooms combine creamy white petals with long, funnel shaped cups that deepen to apricot pink in maturity, especially when grown in filtered sunlight for their richest colour. Large 3½" flowers last up to 18 days in the garden or vase. Perfect for brightening spring borders and bouquets. Naturalizes readily and multiplies each year.
