Each 6–6½" flower opens to reveal soft yellow standards brushed with peach and rich peach-coloured falls accented by vibrant orange beards. Deer and rabbits tend to leave bearded irises alone, making them a reliable choice for gardens with hungry visitors. Hybridized by Breck’s own iris breeder Christian Bédard, Butter Me Up is not just beautiful but also hardworking. It returns year after year and slowly spreads over time to form bigger, bolder clumps.
