Warm, golden-yellow pompon blooms give this heirloom dahlia lasting appeal, producing a steady show of tidy 3" round flowers from midsummer until autumn’s first frost. Bred in the Netherlands in 1926 and still widely grown, Golden Scepter has earned its reputation for reliability and garden performance. The evenly formed blooms sit well above the foliage, making them especially useful for cutting. At home in sunny borders or cutting gardens, plants perform best when grouped and spaced to promote airflow and quick drying after rain.
