Description

Compact canna with bold foliage contrast.

Ideal for patios and small gardens, this award winner reaches just 30–32" tall yet delivers weeks of vivid colour from early summer until the first frost. Large, flared blooms in glowing coral-red to orange rise above strong, upright stems and are beautifully set off by broad, tropical leaves in deep green flushed with bronze. The dramatic foliage–flower contrast makes a striking statement in containers and tight planting spaces. Sturdy and weather resistant, the plants also deter deer and rabbits while attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. An RHS Award of Garden Merit winner in 2003, Ingeborg performs best in full sun. Lift and store the rhizomes in zones 3–7 for winter protection.
