Elegant foliage frames showy, colourful bloom spikes.

Spectacular terminal spires of fragrant bluishpurple and ivory-white flowers rise well above graceful, deeply cut palmate foliage, creating a vivid vertical accent. The densely packed, sweet-pea-style blossoms are highly attractive to butterflies and bees, while deer tend to pass them by. Thrives in sunny sites with deep, rich, slightly acidic soil, with deadheading encouraging repeat bloom. An outstanding cut flower.
