Fernleaf Peony

Compact plants have lovely, finely cut fernlike, feathery foliage upon which rests the brilliant crimson flowers with contrasting yellow stamen. In cultivation for more than 200 years, Fernleaf, also called the Mother's Day Peony for its early bloom time, can be found growing wild in areas of Eastern Europe. Limited quantities available.

  • Planting InstructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots without bending them. Set crown with buds 1" below ground-level. Water in thoroughly. Plant at least 6 weeks before ground freezes.
