Mini Mouse Hostas Description

Together or separately, these half-pint hostas are perfect for adding a unique and colourful twist to shadowy sites or texture to rock gardens. Beautiful in pots, their low-growing nature also makes them spectacular in border fronts. Collection includes Monster Ears, Blue Mouse Ears, Mighty Mouse and Funny Mouse. Individually labeled for easy planting. (Pot not included)

Mighty Mouse
Small in size but tough as nails and pretty as can be, this is one of the best mini hostas we've found. Small, thick and rounded leaves are strikingly hued blue-green with creamy yellow margins. Yields mauve-lilac blooms up to 1" across on scapes. Perfect in a small container, rockery or fairy garden. A sport of Blue Mouse Ears. (Pot not included)

Monster Ears
This heatlhy and simple-to-grow variety features dark green leaves that are very round, thick and cupped--some say they bear a resemblance to large mouse ears! Delicate-looking, pale lavender, bell-shaped blooms up to 1" wide open on scapes that rise above the foliage. An excellent option for small containers and rock gardens. (Pot not included)

Blue Mouse Ears
Here's a compact hosta that will provide colour and texture to your yard's dark areas. The foliage consists of small, steel blue leaves that are thick and rounded. Elegant scapes of tiny, lavender, bell-shaped flowers add to the colour show. Great for use in rock gardens and containers. (Pot not included)

Funny Mouse
Delightful miniature hosta features round, blue-green leaves with white margins that age to a buttery cream in the summer. Tiny, lavender flowers atop short, sturdy scapes add to its charm. While garden visitors adore this compact hosta, slugs and snails tend to pass it by. Ideal for planting in small containers, rock gardens and fairy gardens. (Pot not included)

Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.

To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window above.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to delivery your orders via the USPS or FedEx based on your hardiness zone.. Large orders may be shipped in more than one package.

Bulb and perennial shipments direct from Holland are harvested in July and August dependent on the season and crop. Once fully inspected and packaged they are shipped direct to you in the most efficient manner to follow the dates above.

Garden hardgoods and Gift Certificates ship with in 4-7 day.

We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedule.
