It’s hard to believe so much colour variation can be found in one plant! The blooms are white with a striking deep reddish-pink star in the centre that’s surrounded by speckles of the same colour. This stippling is different for each flower, and so prevalent in some that they show hardly any white. Delightfully fragrant, these flowers invite kaleidoscopes of butterflies to the garden. Long-lived, free-flowering Palmyra yields enough blooms to enjoy outdoors in border plantings and landscape beds, as well as indoors in seasonal arrangements. It perennializes readily and offers excellent mildew resistance.

Important Shipping Notes:
Breck's times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America. To promote optimum stress protection in transit and your success in the garden, bareroot perennials are kept in the ground in our nurseries until fully dormant. In the Fall, these plants tend to arrive at the later end of the shipping window below.
We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules. The type of product you order or the weather may affect the anticipated shipping schedule below. Based on the contents of your order we always strive to ship your order complete, and as early as possible in the planting season to allow for the best root development once planted.

Located in charming Hillegom, The Netherlands, the Geerlings-Meyer nursery was established in 1958 by Piet Geerlings and his wife, Alida Meyer. Initially, Piet purchased and resold flower bulbs to customers in the U.K., but later began growing his own bulbs. His son, Antoon Geerlings, took over the business and shifted the focus entirely to cultivation.
In 1975, the nursery expanded its offerings to include perennials. A few years later, Antoon's sons, Antoon Jr. and Peter, joined the family business. Peter eventually switched exclusively from growing flower bulbs to perennials in 1997. Eight years later, he began breeding phlox. Since then, he has introduced many more varieties of the flower, including Anastasia, Cleopatra, Larissa, Zenobia, Olympus and Coastal Breeze. Today, under Peter's leadership, the nursery's phlox collection has grown to nearly 140 different varieties, making it his main crop.
Peter chose to specialize in phlox because he loves the yearly display of flowers and the distinct clusters that grow on the stems. When selecting new cultivars, he prioritizes innovative flower colors, unique flower structures (like with Cleopatra) and improved disease resistance.
