Description

Pretty, blush pink tulips hover slightly above pure white daffodils in this truly unique combination that we first spied in Keukenhof Gardens last year. The Stainless Daffodil is pristine perfection, featuring a pure white flat cup and a white corona, making it the perfect understory for the pretty pink shades of Cosmopolitan Tulip. The height of the darling pink tulips makes them appear to be dancing above the daffodils.

The highlight of my Spring Garden!

I put these under a dogwood tree in my front yard and they were the highlight of my garden, all the neighbors complimented them. Right after the crocus came up, a few days later popped up the pink tulips, then the daffodils. The dark pink ones came up first so they faded after an ENTIRE MONTH of staying bloomed! So you get 2-3 months of blooms.

The tulips are tall and large but they are not pink, they're more salmon or coral in color. The collection is pretty together but I would have preferred pink.

Share a little romance with the Spring Bulbs Bride Duet. This delightful duo includes the rosy pink Cosmopolitan tulip and the immaculately white Stainless daffodil. The tulip is the taller member of the pair, its fleshy, cup-shaped flower blushing sweetly above the daffodil's starched petals and frilly corona. Spring's sweetest couple harmoniously blooms in early to mid-spring and continues to flower through the end of the season.

If you want to make this Dutch duet really sing, plant your spring flower bulbs in the fall, about 3 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart in full sun to partial shade. These spring flower bulbs thrive in zones 3 through 8 and grow best in well-drained clay, loamy or sandy soil.

Cosmopolitan tulips will grow 18 to 20 inches tall and the daffodils will reach between 14 to 16 inches, making them excellent for cut flower bouquets. Consider accentuating this height difference in the garden by offsetting the flowers against level hedges or shrubs. Each flower has a 6 to 12 inch spread, which also makes them a great choice for show-stopping flowerbeds. The delicate hues of the spring bulbs Bride Duet collection will make a great complement to the violet, white, yellow and pastel hues of your springtime garden. Get ready to fall in love with this cute couple.
