Bloomin' Beautiful Daylily Collection

Bloomin' Beautiful Daylily Collection

Colourful and Carefree Daylilies that put on a remarkable display

Daylilies Are a Gardener's Dream Disease resistant, drought tolerant and winter hardy in zones 3-9, daylilies are among the easiest perennials you can grow! They can even thrive in poor soil and polluted environments. Butterflies and hummingbirds love these colourful, openfaced flowers, but rabbits will avoid them. Their bounty of trumpet-shaped blooms open in succession—each one like a stunning work of art that lasts a single day. Plant daylilies in full sun to part shade and Mother Nature will do the rest.

Why choose this collection?
  • Some have ruffled blooms, some have a reblooming period and some have both
  • Gorgeous colour combinations
  • Strong, branched scapes with extra-large buds
  • Premium #1 field-grown plants
  • Breck's Lifetime Guarantee

Never before have we assembled a selection of daylilies with such colour, vitality and form. Most of these stunning varieties are so vigorous, they return for a second blooming period before the end of the season. Their flower power simply has to be seen to be believed. All you need to do is plant them in any sunny or partly sunny location, and then watch them flourish!

This Collection includes one each of the following varieties.
  • Bela Lugosi: Named after the European actor whose most famous movie role was his portrayal of Dracula. Wow!®-size, 6" blooms in rich blue-violet are highlighted by chartreuse throats and white midribs to create a dramatic, starburst effect. Midsummer flowering. Grows 33" tall.
  • Passion for Red: Incredibly colourful with massive blooms up to 7" across make this one of the best red daylilies on the market. Fragrant, rounded petals won't fade. Flowers arrive in midsummer and return in late summer to early fall. Grows 27" tall.
  • Inwood: Vibrant and simple to grow almost anywhere! Form and colouring are modern in style with broad petals reflexing back to showcase soft, peachy cream petals with a plum-purple eye and picotee edges. Uniform, 6½" flowers open in midsummer and return in late summer to early fall. Grows 25" tall.
  • Joan Senior: Ruffled, diamond-dusted blooms measuring 6" across open creamy white with a limegreen throat and become almost pure white as the day progresses. Flowers open in midsummer and reblooms in late summer to early fall. Grows 25" tall.
  • Elegant Candy: Its exquisitely rounded, pink and red, 4½" flowers have a striking green throat. Elegant Candy's honours from the American Hemerocallis Society include the Annie T. Giles Award for best smallflowered daylily. Blooms in early to midsummer and again in late summer to early fall. Grows 25" tall.
  • Monterrey Jack: This cultivar's big blooms have light yellow, elegantly ruffled, diamond-dusted petals; raspberry-red eyes; and glimmering, golden throats. The stunning, 5½" blooms open on candelabra-branched scapes in early summer. Grows 24" tall.
  • Mighty Chestnut: Its uniquely hued blooms of orange, deep burgundy and gold, in unison with its gorgeous mound of green foliage, make this daylily a true standout. The 5½" blooms have slightly frilly edges and open from mid to late summer. Grows 30" tall.
  • Elegant Explosion: Adds warmth to gardens with its orange and gold hues. Extravagantly ruffled petals are so broad, they are almost round, opening out flat to maximize the display. Blooms in midsummer and again in late summer to early fall. Grows 20" tall.
