Value and Versatility
The fact that we're offering this extraordinary Double Clematis Collection for such a competitive price should be only one of the many reasons you place your order today. Clematis are an excellent investment because they're easy, reliable and enduring--you won't just be planting this collection for a lovely display this year, but enhancing your landscape for years to come. All you need to do is plant your clematis in sun to part shade, and give them something to climb!
This collection includes 1 each of following varieties:
- Multi Blue: The 3-4" flowers on this vibrant clematis start out lilac-blue, then its outer petals turn deep violet-blue with a central cluster of smaller pale blue petals. Blooms appear late spring to early summer and again in late summer. This variety does best when planted in light shade. 6-7' vine. Zones 4-8.
- Duchess of Edinburgh: The Duchess is an unstoppable showoff, quickly climbing any arbour or trellis to display massive 4-6" white flowers that are occasionally tinted pale green. Plant in full sun in front of a dark wall or deciduous shrub for maximum impact. First flush of flowers in May and June, with a second bloom time in August and September. 7-10' vine. Zones 4-8.
- Kaiser: Compact size and deep pink blooms make Kaiser ideal for your patio containers. These fluffy flowers appear late spring to early summer. As they mature, they open to reveal delightful yellow-green centres. For even richer bloom colour, plant Kaiser in a sunny spot. 3½-5' vine. Zones 4-8.
- Taiga: Tiaga is unique among clematis for flowers that change colour and form throughout the season. Each bloom progresses through three distinct stages, from starlike beginnings to extravagant, double-flower maturity. The mature, billowing blooms feature violet-blue, incurved petals with green-yellow tips. Train this exotic beauty around a mailbox or up a trellis and enjoy the show all summer long. 8' vine. Zones 6-9.
