Wood Anemones are also known as Anemone nemorosa. Plant the small rhizomes (roots) a maximum of 1" (2.5 cm) below the surface of humus-rich, well-drained soil in part to full shade. Incorporate leaf mold into the soil. Spreads slowly over time to form a nice carpet.
