Description

An elegant, native wildflower that's well-loved for its artful foliage and large, beautifully formed flower heads. Each head holds hundreds of tiny reddish-pink blooms that fill the summer garden with a lovely perfume. A nice, full display for bigger gardens, growing 4–5' tall and spreading 3–4' wide. Though it will perform wonderfully in average soil that's watered regularly, Meadowsweet prefers moist soil, and makes a nice addition in a water garden. Filipendula rubra
