Description

A Breakthrough in Hybridization!

The Fresh Face of Columbines
Columbines are treasured for their elegant flower form. However, with their nodding heads, it's a little difficult to appreciate the full beauty of their blooms. That's why our new Songbird Giant Columbine Collection is so exciting—each plant holds its head high, showing off dazzling colour combinations and massive size—some blooms measuring up to 3" across. Also, while the average columbine typically begins flowering in its second year, these hard workers will put on their first show in spring 2018!

Free as a Bird
For all that delicate beauty, this collection is surprisingly hardy and easy to grow in many locations. Columbines are right at home in a woodland garden—once established, they become drought tolerant, and they thrive in sun to part shade. They are also ideal for containers, where guests can't help noticing their intricate blooms, and in borders, which benefit from foliage that stays handsome, even after the flowers fade.

Simply plant and delight as bold, upturned blooms bring fresh interest to your garden borders.
